A phenomenon of popularity in the 1960s, Wilson Simonal saw his meteoric career fall apart when he was accused of collaborating with the Brazilian military dictatorship. Hugely popular as a singer and TV personality throughout the 60’s in Brazil, the entertainment complicated his personal and professional life due political factors induced a steep fall from grace. 


The Brazilian Film Festival Screening in Miami was an absolute delight and BlaGirls had an amazing time watching movie. Now, we can understand better the truth behind this mysterious character, Simonal, who has not been recognized, neither spoken about by Brazilians in general.
