South Beach to Welcome a New Pedestrian Bridge by 2026
Great news for residents and tourists who enjoy South Beach. The city just announced that a Pedestrian walkway over Fifth Street will be constructed to add more flavor and fun to the beach.
Once finalized, the bridge, Walking In, Along and Under the Colors will not only build up pedestrian access but also serve as a symbol of South Beach’s contemporary creative spirit.
The vibrant project is connecting the South of Fifth bay walk with a recently completed park on 5th Street and designed by renowned French artist Daniel Burento. Completion is anticipated by the summer or fall of 2026. BlaGirls looking forward this exciting addition to the city’s iconic landscape.
