The True Story of the Ballerina in Red

The 9th Cine Fest Petrobras NY is soon! The Brazilian Film Festival takes place from June12-19th and will show 30 Brazilian films at the Tribeca Cinemas, including documentaries, feature and short films which were produced in 2010/2011.

A dancer in one of Edgar Degas’ paintings steps out of the canvas, conquers the world and disappears during Rio’s carnival in this spicy cinematic mix of the academic universe, avant-garde art and the underground sex scene.
