" The Brazilian Fashion is Ready For the World's Stage"

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to participate @ the exclusive   "Brazil in NYC" event at the Stylesight headquarters in the city and immensely-glad to hear all the news about the Fashion Industry in Brazil.

Jorge Grimberg, Brazilian & Marketing director for Latin America at Stylesight for 5 years introduced the event to international journalists and buyers with the purpose of presenting the best in fashion and the Brazilian culture.

Right after him, Sharon Graubard, Stylesight's Director of Fashion,
lectured about the Brazilian- Fashion- Trends for autumn / winter 2013 seen during her visit at our country during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week and Fashion Rio # the industry-renowned SVP Fashion Director, presented her analysis straight from the Brazilian Runway

"The Brazilian Fashion is Ready For the World's Stage" - she said # among her FAV brands, she mentioned: Osklen, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Gloria Coelho, Ronaldo Fraga, Neon, Forum, Sacada, Cantão & Triton.

Following Sharon's speech, a panel discussion with representatives from ' Luminosidade', Fabiene Muzzy, Camila Silva & Augusto Marioti started.

Luminosidade's representatives(company that organizes São Paulo Fashion Week and Fashion Rio) joined Sharon Graubard in an open dialogue discussing Brazil’s emerging fashion market, key designers, trends and business opportunities. They also had made it public that São Paulo Fashion Week and Fashion Rio — previously held, back-to-back, in January and May/June of each year — is preponing its events, staging Autumn/Winter in October-November and Spring/Summer in March-April.

# also, Augusto Marioti announced 'for the first time' that FashionRio will add to it's calendar the new Cruise- Resort fashion week from now on.

Love it all! so proud to see, finally, Brazil as an emerging market & Prosperous country! # next to come: the World Cup and Olympics # hot! hot! Hot!
