Urban intervention using lifesize cartoons displayed on strategic points around Manhattan. This is the “Counting Stars” exhibition created by the Brazilian artist Adri Volpi. She will present New York through her eyes- a perspective on New Yorkers: their styles, rhythms and how they behave in the city that never sleeps. #neversleeps

In love with New York, every time Adri comes to the Big Apple she draws in her sketchbook real characters that she observes in her daily trips. These people inspired the artist in creating her cartoons.

The exhibition will be exposed from Monday till Friday from 9 am to 5 pm until September 14 at the Banco do Brasil brach located at 11 West 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan.

Some of her works have illustrated publications such as the collection of UNICEF cards, magazine Marie Claire HK and The Washington Post.

The collection can be seen at the Banco do Brasil branch located at 11 West 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan.

The opening reception, by invitation only, will be Wednesday September 4th from 6:30-9pm.
