Infinite While It Lasts Opening Night by BlaNYCPRGirls

Bla is extra excited with ‘Infinite While It Lasts’ PREMIER at NUBLU last night! Inspired by the works and life of ‘Girl From Ipanema’ composer Vinicius de Moraes(1913-1980),the play brings Poetinha's Bohemian world to the east Village and celebrates his centennial in the city that never sleeps.

Geová Rodrigues ( Plays'Costume Design) with Debora Balardine ( Plays' director) & Brazilian celebrity Paulinho Vilhena

Amazing people stopped by the cool NUBLU to support Group. BR's play and Vinicius de Moraes' spirit! Brazilian celebrity Paulinho Vilhena was honored to be present at such important event for Brazilians & our culture. The actor even mentioned to Bla that he was really impressed by tribute and attitude of the artists in NY. #ISSA!

The site-specific production transforms Vinicius' poetry, texts, and songs into a narrative of theatrical scenes, dances, and songs performed by live musicians. STAGED IN PORTUGUESE WITH PROJECTED SUBTITLES, the play explores love's many phases, and how diving into these phases allows us to live fully.

Plays keeps going strong till November 24th. Doors open at 7PM approximately a half hour before curtain so guests can choose to purchase wine, beer, and authentic Brazilian snacks before sitting down to experience the show.
