World Music Institute's LUSOPHONE FESTIVAL to Open 9/15 with Os Mutantes
The 2015-16 season kicks off with the four-night Lusophone Festival, which includes Portuguese-speaking musicians from Brazil, Portugal, Cape Verde, Angola and Mozambique. Among the performers are the Brazilian psychedelic group Os Mutantes (Sep 15th) and Bla's goodness Ana Carolina ( Sep 17th ).
A cross-cultural festival of artists from the Portuguese-speaking world. From September 15-18, back-to-back concerts take place at venues around town including Le Poisson Rouge, Drom NYC, and The Town Hall.
